Tutor in Lynchburg, Virginia

My name is Karen and I am a 23 year old recent graduate of Sweet Briar College with a BS in biology and a double minor in environmental science and classical studies. While at school, I tutored a variety of subjects including marine biology, English, and Latin, both as a tutor employed by the school and during my own free time. I am available to tutor all grade levels in general/basic science, as well as college-level courses in any kind of biological or environmental science. I am also available to tutor high school chemistry. In addition, I have excellent skills in writing and editing. I am able to provide proofreading and editing services, as well as tips on outlines, citation formatting, and constructive feedback on almost any written assignment. I would be happy to provide references and samples of my work upon request. I am available in the mid-late afternoon through the evening, as well as during the day on weekends. I may be willing to travel to Madison Heights or Amherst, depending on the time and day of the week. My rate is $10-20/hour, dependent on the level of difficulty of the subject being tutored.
