In undergraduate, I often explained and helped break down complex concepts to classmates. Now, I formally tutor students one-on-one and groups using distance learning on the Varsity Tutors platform and have developed new approaches to help others tackle objectives and expectations through homework assignments, essays, and test preparation, emphasizing review and reinforcement. As I tailor lesson plans specific to each individual and teach material utilizing self-reference effects, I delve into understanding my students beyond their academic capabilities. Thus far, I have guided and propelled multiple on the road to academic success in areas including but not limited to the ACT, Psychology, French, college application essays, and AP Literature. Please note that out of hundreds of tutors in the company, I have been selected as one of three individuals to teach in a group setting.
