Hi! I am a University of Manitoba student in the faculty of Education, and I will be graduating with my Bachelor of Education this spring. I have experience teaching grades K-4 but I am comfortable teaching middle school grades as well. I have been tutoring with a tutoring company for the past year with children in grades K-7. I prefer to have more interactive and fun lessons that include games and enjoyable activities, which my students love. I find that this helps them learn things much faster and deepens their understanding. I focus on teaching strategies (reading strategies or number sense/mental math) to make my students as independent as possible. References available upon request.
