Tutor in Fort Myers, Florida

I’m a recent college graduate from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. Since my first years in college, I have been helping high school and college students to fortify their self-confidence and succeed in the academic environment. Before going to UF, I attended Florida Gulf Coast University, where I was a Supplemental Instructor Leader in the subjects of Biology, Gen Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Statistics, and Calculus. Among all the subjects, math is my favorite one (during my high school education, I passed both of my AP calculus classes AB/BC with 5's). Science, however, has always been my strongest passion. My long-term goal is to become a medical doctor and I plan to take the MCAT in June. As a recent former student, I can easily relate to the specific academic needs of every student. I’m the kind of tutor who loves explaining the problems with real life examples. I have experience tutoring high school students with AICE and AP classes, as well as with the math portion of the SAT and ACT. I have also tutored college students from Edison and FGCU, in several subjects such as general chem, organic chem,statistics, calculus, genetics, biology, biochemistry, and physics.
