Dear Sir/Madam, I would like to apply for the position of part-time or weekend math and science tutor for elementary school children - Grades 1-5. I have a Bachelor’s degree (Honours) in Geology and a Master’s degree in Applied Geology from the premier most institute in India (IIT-ISM Dhanbad). I work as a Life Insurance advisor with RBC Insurance. I do not work 9 to 5 fixed Monday to Friday. My schedule is very flexible. Math and Science Tutor job will be an ideal part-time job for me as you are looking for someone with flexibility. I have good math and numeracy skills. In the Financial Industry I crunch a lot of data and numbers all day. I have studied Math and Science throughout my Academic career and applied those skills in my profession. I enjoy teaching and giving presentations. I teach Maths to my own 6 year old daughter with patience and have helped her acquire solid numeracy and addition skills so far.
