Hello my name is Stan. I'm a recent graduate with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from a large state university. 3.92/4.00 GPA I work as a software engineer in the DC area now and want to tutor students in the subjects I've spent my entire academic career learning. Experience teaching STEM: 1. I have experience tutoring university level mathematics, chemistry, and engineering courses. I was on the payroll at my university as a senior level instructional aid for chemical engineering and also calculus. 2. I spent my free time at school (junior/senior) going to middle and high schools to present engineering topics to students to get them interested in a career in STEM. 3..... my freshman year, I worked as a summer camp instructor for teaching Lego robotics to elementary school students. Experience working with young students: I'm in my early 20s and have worked with young students my whole life. I love working with children and connect with them well because I'm talkative and enthusiastic. Aside from teaching lego robotics camps I also worked multiple (3 ) summers as a camp counselor for a peace camp for children. We taught conflict resolution and anti-bullying techniques to at-risk children.
