I AM A FULLY CERTIFIED SECONDARY MATH TEACHER WHO SPECIALIZES IN PRE-ALGEBRA AND ALGEBRA 1. This usually means tutoring students in grades 7-9 who are struggling to keep up with these important topics that lay the foundations for high school math. I have chosen to focus on these areas as they definitely require a tutor with patience who is able to break these subjects down in to a more easy to understand format. I am currently employed in the Scottsdale Unified School District teaching Algebra 1 in their 2017 high school summer program. Right now I am available in the west valley (until 7/29) after 2 pm Mon-Fri as well as Sat mornings. (This week only, 7/3 -7/8, I am available all day Mon-Sat).). I am able to come to your home or public library as you prefer. My rate is still at a very reasonable $30/hr., which is great if you've checked private tutoring fees recently. I WILL ALSO CONTINUE TO OFFER MY VERY POPULAR STIMULUS PACKAGE FOR THE REST OF THIS SUMMER! This is for any client that wishes to pay for several sessions in advance. If paying for at least 5 sessions up front the rate will decrease to just $$25/hr.
