Hello, My name is Hannah and I am a UBC Applied Sciences student. I am offering mathematics tutoring services for children in elementary school up to a grade 12 pre-Calculus level. I have 3 years of experience teaching young children and youth piano and 1 year of academic tutoring experience. In addition, I have multiple years of child care experience. I love math and I truly enjoy working with children. Math is usually where a lot of students struggle, and for this reason students tend to dislike math. However, with the proper methods, I hope I can introduce your child to the fun side (yes, fun side) of math while improving their problem solving skills. I am proficient in tutoring high school level mathematics, and am skilled in algebra, trigonometry, and spatial reasoning. I can also prepare students for the grade 10 provincial examination in June, or help with preparation for the following academic year. My rate is $22 an hour.
