I am a math teacher and have taught for a few years in both an international private school in Europe as well as an urban school near Oakland, California. No matter the background of the child, my goal is for kids to understand the “why” behind the mathematics rather than memorizing procedures. I have experience tutoring kids from grade 4 until grade 10.
