I am a High school student looking for a part-time job as a math tutor. I am very proficient in math and would like to help others achieve their academic goals. I am currently participating in the after school tutoring program for my high school which has made me realize how rewarding it is when you help others master the skills to be successful in math. With today’s ever demanding curriculum, a lot of parents are faced with the responsibility of being the teacher at home. With over 30 children per classroom, your child’s teacher probably has no idea whether they understand the homework or not. Time to move on to the next lesson. Sometimes all a child needs is a little practice after school to make sure they are understanding their current lessons. It is so important to practice math and make sure that they do not fall behind. If your child is keeping up with the math curriculum, then he/she will have less stress and better test results. I can help your child with homework, studying, and even do some sample standardized tests with them as well. • Grades 1-8 Mathematics • Pre-Algebra • Algebra I am currently very reasonably priced because I am just starting off and need an after school job. I am asking for $8/hr. with a minimum of 2 hours.
