I am a current industry certified IT professional with a strong background in Mathematics. I attended Cuyahoga Community College and Cleveland State University with my major in Mathematics / Electrical Engineering. I am employed with a major international healthcare manufacturer and am certified with Microsoft, Cisco, Comptia and a host of other major and minor IT technologies. I have an 8 year old daughter that is among the tops in her class, in of course particularly mathematics and science. I have served as a neighborhood tutor in the city of Cleveland over the past 17 years and have helped many youth and adults achieve above average grades and test scores by presenting mathematics in a simplistic way. I explain the rules of math in basic form so that you, the student can understand and recognize how to do certain functions come test time. I have only had two students to have failed, because they did not apply themselves, so I do hold the student accountable for success. I am excellent with children and youth and will gladly submit to a background check within necessity and reason. I work with all ages and the subject ranges from Elementary Mathematics to Pre-Calculus. My methods are simple. If you are not totally satisfied, then there is no billing for the lessons. If you do not pass your exam, then there is no billing. If you do not pass your course, then there is no billing. It is that simple. I expect success, but only through hard work and if the student puts in the time and effort into whatever they are doing, then they shall reap the rewards. Math, as with anything, you have to practice to become competent, otherwise you are just wasting time. My goal is not to get you to love math. My goal is to help you understand the basics and guide you through the various rules and theorems so that you can be successful. If I can convince you to practice with success, then you can win with success in math and in life.
