I have a BA from Iona University along with Microsoft & Adobe certifications from Lehman College-CUNY, and over 33 years of teaching/tutoring experience. I have been working as a software instructor for 9 years at Lehman College-CUNY and I have previously been a teacher at Tuckahoe High School. As a certified Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) teacher/tutor in MS PowerPoint, MS Word and General Computer, I get great satisfaction in helping students succeed and advance in their school and work assignments. My experience includes working with all levels of students, working professionals and adults, and retired seniors in learning the Microsoft Office applications - POWERPOINT, WORD, EXCEL, PUBLISHER, and GENERAL COMPUTER. Within the framework of my teaching career I have also managed a 25-station school computer lab and support desk, and was the sole webmaster for a public-school district. I offer students a well laid out plan to work on the Microsoft Office applications listed above and provide them with ongoing venues of support during and beyond their training time.
