Hello. My name is John Curran and I am currently accepting students for this summer and the approaching fall session for tutoring in the elementary subjects of math, reading, writing, study skills, and spelling. I am a retired elementary teacher and have been teaching for 31 years. I am currently a substitute teacher and tutor for Mission ISD and Sharyland ISD. I have training in teaching the STAAR reading and math strategies for the state test of Texas. I am a mobile tutor and will come to your home to tutor your child at a convenient time that agrees with your child's schedule. If you would prefer me to tutor your child at another location such as the public library, I would be glad to accommodate this request also .I have references from satisfied parents who will speak highly of their child's success under my direction.
