Hello Piano People! I am excited to share my love and knowledge of piano with youth yearning to learn. I've studied piano since age 12 and have been studying Jazz Piano Performance at CU Denver since 2011. I am offering lessons and tutoring to children and young adults (ages 4 - 28); experience levels Beginner (having never played piano) to Intermediate levels. Lessons will be tailored to meet the needs of each individual with varying emphases on: Sight-Reading, Technique and Chord Fundamentals, Improvisation, Chord Chart Interpretations, Music Theory and Ear Training. Having taught elementary and middle school children since 16, I believe the most important foundation for an dawning musician is joy and curiosity. Making lessons fun and helping people understand songs and styles they enjoy supports a lasting relationship with music. Lessons are directed towards beginner to beginner-intermediate players. Lesson Pricing 1 Hour- $45 1/2 Hour- $30 (recommended for younger beginners) Tutoring Pricing Varying by necessity (time) 1st assessment and lesson is free.
