For the past 5 years I have worked for the SantaMonica/Malibu Unified School District, first as an Instructional Aide, then as a Substitute Teacher. I have worked mostly with elementary and middle school students with different levels of abilities and have found creative ways to approach the material when needed. I prefer to find their strengths and build from there, using what is strong to help guide them through the material they may struggle with. I believe my skillset pairs with your requirements. My Bachelor of Arts is in economics and I am a certified Substitute Teacher. I'm passionate about children and education.
