I have been an educational assistant for three years and a childcare professional for thirteen. I have worked with children across all ages and grade levels. My favourite subjects are science and English. I make learning fun through motivation, games, and positive reinforcement! Canadian curriculum approved worksheets, materials, and games are provided. Any additional specifically requested materials must be reimbursed by the parents. I offer complete elementary subject tutoring (PK-4), specific subjects (English, social studies, and sciences) for middle and high school (5-12). I am available during the summer weekdays during the day (8 am-6 pm) and weekend evenings (after 4). I am available during the school year after school (4-7 pm) and weekend days (8 am-6 pm). I believe 90 minutes to 2 hour sessions are the most effective. I am an educational assistant currently employed with Elk Island. My educational background is in child development. I have extensive experience working with students with behavioral difficulties and special needs and a familiarity with the curriculum. I am triple vaccinated for Covid and believe strongly in handwashing. Masking will be done in public places and if parents request in their homes.
