Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT #656682) certified in the Primary/Junior/Intermediate divisions offering in home tutoring K-8 in all subjects. I am also certified in special education and have experience working with students with special needs - particularly students with ASD. My hourly rate starts from $35 an hour but may be more depending on how far I have to go to travel to your home. The amount of time and availability of both of our schedules would determine our frequency of sessions; generally I tutor students once or twice a week. Sessions for students I tutor are typically for 60 minutes but I prefer at least 90 minutes for house calls (as reflected in my pricing). It also really depends on the student and whether they are able to focus for that long. With each session that I provide you will recieve a report about: what we do, how your child does and what the next steps in our session will be. As a tutor and certified teacher I make sure to create individualized lesson plans tailored to your child's pace that are engaging, include their interests and are at an appropriate level. I will also provide the following on an as need basis: -general support for all subjects -homework help -communication with your child's teacher with your support I hope this information is helpful to you.
