I'm a Carnegie Mellon University Graduate student with the following credentials: CHESS: Over 15 years experience in competitive chess for the United States Chess Federation (USCF). I've earned championships as an individual and team player on both the local (central Ohio), state (Ohio) and national (US) level. I've taught children and adults from the ages of 7 and up and studied under chess master F. Leon Wilson. VIOLIN (& Viola): I have a BA in Music with a focus on violin. I played for the Westerville Symphony Orchestra for 4 years during my undergrad and have chamber, solo and other orchestral experience. I've studied under Charles Wetherbee (Concert Master of Columbus Symphony Orchestra), Jon Moon (Austin Symphony Orchestra), Erin Gilliland (Westerville Symphony), Steve Wedell (and more). I've played violin for about 15 years and also have experience with teaching composition, theory, aural skills, sight reading, songwriting, voice, and piano. FRENCH: I have studied French for about 10 years and I have studied abroad in France (Cannes).
