I'm an
Individual
Hi, I’m Rody Klein, an ADHD/ADD coach/tutor for college students, who helps you embrace your unique traits and create a life that works with, not against, your creative ways of thinking. WHO IS THIS ADHD/ADD COACHING FOR? Many students with ADHD/ADD are frustrated and confused by the seemingly invisible barriers. You have talent, vision, and drive, and yet often feel like you are trying to move a mountain. You excel in certain areas of your life but might struggle immensely in others - it just doesn't make sense. ADHD/ADD coaching can help you develop an understanding of how your unique brain works, the tools and systems that can help you, and how to embrace your strengths and talents. My tutoring/coaching helps you do things ‘your’ way, with the ultimate goal of living a healthier, happier and more authentic life. Thomas Brown, PhD * explains : You may have chronic difficulty with ADHD/ADD symptoms in most areas of life, but when it comes to a few special interests like playing sports or video games, doing art or building Lego constructions, reading mangas or surfing on Social media, your ADHD/ADD symptoms are absent or hard to notice. This phenomenon of “can do it here, but not most anyplace else” makes it appear that ADHD is a simple problem of lacking willpower; it isn’t. These impairments of executive functions are usually due to inherited problems in the chemistry of the brain’s management system. * The Mystery of ADHD Motivation, Solved! A Note To Parents Coaching is not designed to ‘fix’ your daugther or son, and it usually takes time and work from all parties. I work with students/individuals who want to work with me, or, at the very least, recognize their challenges and aren’t resistant to help. Coaching is an investment and often takes time to achieve results - although many individuals see benefits quickly. It also often requires separate sessions with parents to determine how best to support your daughter or son. That being said, it can be a tremendously beneficial and rewarding experience for everyone involved. Regular fees : CAD $150.00 **Discounted Hourly Rate**: CAD $40.00 [Minimum 50 hours] **Only if you benefit from a Government Tutor Grant for Permanent Disability [usually CAD $40 per tutoring hour]. You can qualify for a tutor grant [Up to CAD 20 000 $ per loan year] if you qualified for a Federal student loan. Instead of 2 hours of tutoring support per week per course, you may request 4 tutoring hours per week per course because of your ADD [You will need a letter from your mental health practitioner]. Reminder: For each hour you interact with me, I would be paid an additional hour for preparation so that I could be paid CAD 80$ per face to face tutoring hour. My qualifications allow me to be your tutor for Human and Social Sciences courses, Information and communication Sciences including some foreign languages [Italian, French and English] as well as any course in the field of Kinesiology. Example: If I was paid for 8 hours of face to face interaction, I would be paid for [16 hours x 40$ = 640$]. Please request my resume to be approved by your Accessibility Office Coordinator.
