Hello! My name is Preet and I'm a born and raised Calgarian! When it comes to tutoring, I take more than one approach to any given subject/topic and tailor that approach to each student. Homework, test prep, essay writing, editing, reading, presentations, learning impediments, home schooling, "catching up", remedial learning, summer school, university placement, projects large or small and mark improvement regardless of current level... I handle them all. I know the Alberta curriculum, teacher's expectations and marking habits inside out. Over 12 years of experience tutoring boys and girls of all ages, abilities, goals and issues, I've worked with students from all four Alberta school boards. Experience with a myriad of learning and developmental challenges. Everything from the liberal arts and humanities fields, to mathematics and the sciences. Educated in Calgary. Many local references available upon establishing we could be a good "fit". Certified in Alberta and BC in English, Social Studies (all humanities), Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology for grades 1 through 12. I don't want to be your tutor forever, I want to teach the skills to move forward and have success without me. I hold a BA in English Literature.
