Hello! I'm a CALT-in-Training, specializing in structured literacy interventions at the therapy level. Primarily, I implement Take Flight, which is an intensive Orton-Gillingham based intervention. This program is a diagnostic, individualized, multisensory approach to teaching reading, writing and spelling.
In a nutshell, we are “rewiring the dyslexic brain” by lighting up all the parts of the brain that are strong in order to help compensate for the part which is weak. I'd be honored to help support your child in becoming a happy, confident reader!
