Hello! My name is Lindsey Donohue and I recently graduated from University of California at Santa Cruz with a bachelor's degree in Film production and theory. I have a lot of experience teaching my peers writing and editing skills and before that, I tutored AP U.S History in high school. I've attended a lot of writing workshops, which helped me practice patience and active listening. I believe in the power of unconditional positive regard, constructive criticism, and looking at information from new perspectives. To me, everyone is capable of learning new information and I want to show people how learning can be fun. Each person approaches new information differently, and I want my friends, peers, and students to understand that learning is a process that is worth it. Even though I majored in film production and theory, before that I was majoring in Politics and Literature (along with feminist, environmental science, sociology, math GE's). The entire reason why I'm drawn to film is because it is such an accessible way of learning. My passion is making new information accessible to different types of people. I love learning and I love teaching people new information in any way possible!
