I have a BA in Mathematics from UC Berkeley. I have extensive tutoring experience (since 1980) in *all* levels of Mathematics, and in Computer Science and some Physics. I am a very clear explainer, and very supportive, helpful, and non-threatening. One of my students (in Statistics) asked “Are you over-simplifying this? Because I can understand it!” I have many, many successful clients -- "successful" meaning that they did well in their classes, exams, and or jobs, with my help. While tutoring, I have also worked since 1991 as a Math textbook editor, answer writer, accuracy checker, etc. In addition, I have had a separate career in the arts, as a dancer, choreographer, stage director, and composer, so I am very good at teaching “non-math” and “non-science” people. One of those jobs was as choreographer and stage director for a children’s (and adults’) opera company, so I am good at relating to students of all ages.
