Hey there! I'm Bill Tong. I am currently a rising sophomore at Cornell University studying finance. I scored a perfect 1600 on the SAT and 21 on the essay. I can teach all sections of the SAT, including the essay, as well as AP Economics, AP English, AP World History, AP U.S Government, AP Human Geography, and elementary and middle school subjects. In addition to understanding the learning material, I am a patient and encouraging teacher. I enjoy teaching and don’t mind moving slowly for students who are struggling to understand a concept or have gaps in their knowledge. I aim to instill confidence in a subject along with competency. For students that are hindered by bad time management, I make sure to teach them good study habits. Oftentimes, the soft skills learned during a class are more important than hard knowledge.
