I am a Straight-A High School senior that is seeking to become a personal tutor over the summer for any student between 4th and 11th grade. I believe that summer vacation is the ideal time to strengthen in academics, and ultimately hone valuable cognitive skills to prepare for the rigors of the next school year. Although I myself am almost nearing the end of my high school career, I have many qualifications that make me more than suitable to assist any struggling students. I present my accomplishments in the following list: (please consult me if you have any questions about these) 1) I have tutored 4 students in my neighborhood over the course of three years, and have managed to foster satisfactory to excellent academic progress every time. 2) Over three years of tutoring experience dealing with general middle school and high school curricula. 3) Attained a 4.0 GPA in my junior and senior years of high school, with an cumulative GPA of 3.8 4) Attained the "Socrates Award" from The Brooklyn Latin High School for valuable contributions to group discussions at school 5) SAT: 2120 6) SAT Subject Test Math: 780 7) SAT Subject Test Physics: 760 8) Took a rigorous IB curriculum in High School that involved college-level work load for all subjects. 9) Expecting IB diploma certificate this summer. 10) Founder and president of Astronomy Club at The Brooklyn Latin High School. 11) Enrolling in The University of Rochester with a major in Physics. 12) Academic Strengths: excellent Mathematical reasoning, highly proficient in scientific fields, particularly in physics, chemistry and biology, a good understanding of ancient, and modern world and US history. 13) Academic Mediocrities: apt, fluent and overall very good in English. However, not as excellent as in my Maths and Sciences counterparts. I am over all a good student and I have several years of experience in tutoring. I am willing to tutor daily over the summer. However, the tutoring schedule and thus the price are entirely negotiable. Since I am a almost high school graduate, I do not expect a lot of pay (willing to work for cheap).
