Tutor in Tampa, Florida

I am a primary school teacher (have taught K-2) and am offering tutoring services (in any subject) in the evenings and weekend mornings. I can help your child exceed grade level benchmarks through enrichment and comprehension activities, or help a struggling reader make significant progress through researched-based reading interventions and one-on-one instruction. I have a very structures and effective reading block in my own classroom and can transfer that into a one-on-one environment. I would work on phonics skills and decoding strategies, sight words, fluency and vocabulary, and comprehension. If you have specific concerns about your child's reading or concerns in other subject areas, I could address those as well. (Math, Writing, etc...) I am looking to charge $30 an hour but it is negotiable if I can set up a regular schedule. (This price would include educational resources and learning materials that I will supply)
