I am a professor at SSU. I have a PhD in English education, and over a decade of teaching and tutoring experience. I possess wide experience working with English language learners, as well as helping high school school students prep for the ACT and work to improve their grades in reading or writing-intensive courses. I can help you with the following: -Learning/practicing English speaking, reading, and writing -ACT, SAT, or GRE prep -Writing specific assignments and papers -Application letters for jobs, colleges, and internships -CV/résumé design -General assistance with any issues related to reading Studies have shown that the most effective tutoring occurs in one-to-one consultations, where students receive the individualized attention that addresses their particular needs. Trouble is, private tutoring scheduled through agencies can cost upwards of $200.00 per session. My prices are significantly less expensive than what agencies charge, as there is no middle man. I am also far more experienced than agency tutors, as those tutors typically have just a bachelor's degree and often have no formal training as teachers.
