Could your child benefit from personal support outside of the classroom? I'm offering tutoring services (after school and weekends) to middle school and high school students. Sessions address academic proficiency (Math, English, Science, History, etc.), test preparation, testing anxiety, organization, and motivational issues. My qualifications: • Masters-level, Colorado-certified teacher with 13 years of experience working with adolescents. • Taught Mathematics at a Boston charter school for 3 years, have substitute taught and tutored students in a variety of subjects, and have worked with students with an extremely wide range of strengths and challenges. • Practice and guide a variety of experiential and alternative forms of education and therapy, including yoga, wilderness/outdoor therapy, yoga therapy, and rites of passage.
