Schools have been implementing and encouraging Computer Science classes recently. This is because companies are in need of programmers now, and they will need even more in the near future. The job pays well, too! Programming is a helpful skill, especially for those that have interest in engineering. These lessons can help people of all ages. Kids aged around 12 or 13 (sometimes younger, too) are usually a great age to start. If they have an interest in computers, math, or logical problem solving, they will probably love programming. Starting kids while they are young can help them understand and appreciate programming as they grow older. Picking up programming even after these ages is still an amazing experience. I am a senior in high school, and I've been programming for several years. I have experience with several different languages such as Java, PHP, Python, C#, and C . I am offering programming lessons to earn some money over the summer as well as to inspire the younger (and older!) generations to gain some programming experience. Lessons can start with students that have absolutely no experience with programming. Depending on the student, I will teach either Python or Java to absolute beginners. I typically offer two hour sessions, but time can vary upon customer request. I do offer group rates (two or more students) that offer discounts. Unless you request a group session, all sessions will be one-on-one with the student. If you are unsure if your student is ready for programming lessons, feel free to text or e-mail me.
