If you or your child would like help with French, please contact me! I welcome students of all ages and levels. I completed a French major at Vanderbilt University and I have extensive experience in speaking, listening, reading and writing. I have been studying French for 11 years and I spent six months in Aix-en-Provence, where I took cello lessons at the Darius Milhaud Conservatory of Music and Dance. At Vanderbilt I took thirteen French classes at the advanced level; I was also the winner in the French essay category of the annual Vanderbilt French & Italian writing competition and I received a merit award from the French government. In high school I received many certificates of achievement, including a scholarship award from the Alliance Française and the Most Outstanding Senior in French Award. I was a co-president of the National French Honor Society, I scored a 5 on the AP French Language and Culture exam, and my senior year I was nationally ranked in the National French Contest. rate: $60 per hour
