After being a student at Pine View for several years, I have learned several leadership and teaching skills. FFEA (Florida Future Educators of America) has allowed me to volunteer to teach multiple classes and tutor numerous students. I have been praised in Speech and Debate for making things a lot easier to understand for the novice members of LD Debate. Math is my main speciality and joining Mu Alpha Theta this year will allow me to get an even deeper understanding of it. I have gotten well above passing in all prior math classes, (A average) and am taking Pre-Calculus this year. Many students don't enjoy math for the simple reason that they don't understand it. I hope to help that change!
