Hi, I'm Kate! I have been tutoring students in pre-kindergarten through 12th grade for the past 10 years. I am a certified teacher for grades K-6 and I have worked extensively with students to catch up, stay on track or get ahead, in all subjects, especially reading and math. I have taught kindergarten and 1st grade in the classroom and for the last 3 years I’ve been working with groups of mixed aged students (pre-k-6th grade) in a homeschool pod setting. I have experience differentiating lessons, creating and implementing curriculum and teaching different grades simultaneously. Supplemental instruction is always tailored to meet individual learning styles while incorporating homework help and study skills and fostering academic confidence in the process.
