Hello, my name is Dustin Carota and I am a 32 year old, moderate-severe special education teacher at a middle school in Union City. I have a moderate-severe special education credential and a master's degree in special education from Sacramento State University. I work in a classroom that serves 6th-8th graders with varying disabilities including autism, Down syndrome, physical impairments, and intellectual disabilities. I have been a special education teacher for over 9 years and have worked in autism-specific settings, a behavioral school, an Applied Behavioral Analysis-specific setting, and I have also worked with elementary and high school-aged students.
