Hello, my name is Alis Brumbalow. I have been a Texas Certified Educator and UMHB Alumni since 1999 with seven years of classroom experience Kinder to Third grades. Along with teaching, I am deeply passionate about creative writing and I specialize in reading comprehension. I love working with students on everything from math, study skills & organization, to time management techniques. I have hundreds of hours of tutoring experience under my belt and have prepped students for STAARS and multiple other diagnostic and readiness exams. Having extensive experience working with students, I am well versed in teaching to a spectrum of learning styles. I have a wealth of experience working with students who are on individualized education plans (IEP) and accommodate my teaching to meet their needs.
