SAT Test Preparation: I offer lessons preparing students for all sections of the SAT. I also offer lessons geared towards individual sections of the SAT (reading, writing and language, math, essay) depending on needs of the student. English: I have tutored ESL for two years and taught writing in an independent classroom environment. My services offered include ESL, writing, grammar/vocabulary building, critical reading, and English in general. Application Essay Editing: I will edit college application essays. Rates are different for essay editing, so please inquire for further information. I first started teaching as a high school sophomore, working as a private tutor for ESL students. Now, as an alumnus of Breakthrough Collaborative's rigorous teaching fellow program, I possess robust classroom management skills and experience working with students of all learning styles. I combine my perspective of being a student with my perspective of being a teacher, maximizing the effectiveness and clarity of teaching; my ultimate goal is providing individualized, accessible instruction for all students.
