Is your kid enrolled in summer school? I am a 21 year old female, certified tutor that has been working for the Humboldt County Office of Education for the past 2 school years as an in class tutor. I am looking for some part time work in the summer before I start my senior year at HSU in the fall. I'm willing to commit 20-30 hours a week, 15 minimum at Arcata, Eureka and possibly McKinleyville. My best subjects are Math and English but I am willing to help with Science and other core classes. I am NOT a teacher, meaning I will not create lesson plans. I am offering my services as a tutor for students enrolled in summer school who have to complete assignments and tasks, students who either have a book to work from or materials that we can look at together. To clarify, I will be tutoring and helping, not giving out answers, writing essays or doing the work for anyone. Other than that, I'm super friendly, and excited to get started!
