Tutor Certified Teacher K-8 (Deer Valley) Tutor: Reading, Writing, Math (Deer Valley) Compensation: $20-25 per student per hour based on location. I am a certified teacher working in deer valley. I am offering summer tutoring for students in the 3rd through 8th grades in; reading, writing and math. I have been teaching for 7 years and have been tutoring part time for 6 years. I have a current fingerprint clearance card and received my master's degree in continued professional elementary education with a reading endorsement K-12 from NAU (2012 graduate). I have worked at the same A rated elementary school for 7 years in the 5th and 6th grades. I have experience tutoring students one on one, in pairs and in small groups. I have reliable transportation and can offer private one on one or pair in home tutoring or tutoring at the library. A parent or guardian must be present. Summer hours are very flexible, beginning June 1st I am available most weekdays and weekends from 9 am - 5 pm. Tutoring hours prior to June 1st are limited to weekends and weekdays after 4, based on availability.
