K-12. I'm Bethany Greenleaf-Perez, and I have 33 years of experience as a career teacher and principal in the private school sector. I have taught all levels from kindergarten through 8th grade, covering all core subjects. With my education and background, I am also able to offer tutoring for high school students in language arts, literature, religion, and history. I have been active in leadership as well, having been on the board of directors for Christian Life Assembly in Lancaster, and as a teacher, youth leader, and homegroup leader for churches in Lancaster. I have had many students keep in touch with me over the years, and I am always humbled by the opportunities I am given to mentor and watch young people succeed. As a long-time resident of the Antelope Valley, I desire to help make our area a better place to live - this starts with enabling our young people to excel in their studies. Teaching children "how" to study often eliminates their need for long term tutoring. It is my goal to strengthen their natural ability by helping them to develop skills in organization, oberservation, note taking, and evaluation concerning the material they are presented with in their classrooms. Once using these skills becomes "second nature" confidence and success are a natural outcome. All tutoring is done by me - no other teachers working under me.
