First of all, I love to teach! I just retired as a high school general chemistry and AP chemistry teacher and have taught in both public and private college prep schools. I am certified in Colorado to teach secondary science. Besides chemistry, I have taught earth science, biology and environmental science. My bachelor's is from Texas A&M University, and my Master's is from Capella University. I enjoy helping students make sense of science concepts, particularly those in chemistry. So, if you need a little help all along the way or just some help here and there to understand a difficult concept, I am happy to help you find success in science. I also am certified as a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) instructor. I was a grader for Academy School District 20's annual six-trait writing assessment. I live in Breckenridge, but will travel up to 15 miles at my own expense, or I can meet you at the club house at Tiger Run, Breckenridge.
