Tutor in Ryley, Alberta

I have a Bachelor of Education obtained at the University of Alberta with a major in English and minor in Biology. Since obtaining my degree, I have tutored students at all grade levels as well as English as a Second Language. I am currently the site coordinator for the GED course which involves teaching and ensuring that the students can be successful when writing the exam. I currently have the highest success rate in the province of Alberta. In addition, I am working with students, one on one, that have learning disabilities. One student is a high school student and has seen her test marks go from failing grades to passing every exam. The other student will be doing her GED exam and she is finally understanding concepts that had escaped her to this point. I firmly believe that as a tutor I am able to offer alternative learning methods that are not generally available to students in a regular classroom setting. I am also able to do tutoring and instruction using Skype so that all students can take advantage of my expertise regardless of location. In addition to having the educational and hands on experience to be successful, I truly enjoy my time with every student and am very excited to watch each one be successful and begin to enjoy the process of learning new things.
