I hold degrees in elementary education, special education and school administration. I am experienced as a teacher, reading intervention specialist, staff developer, elementary principal and Director of Special Services, as well as Director of Gifted Education to one of Denver largest metropolitan school districts. I have served clients in the suburban school districts and private schools for twelve years and I am now serving students within the Denver community. My clients include students, their parents and the schools they attend. I provide a variety of intervention services on behalf of learners with special needs. Services may include direct instruction, counseling, and parent consultation. I work with students who have special learning needs resulting from learning disabilities, Dyslexia, Auditory Processing Dysfunction, Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) and or Executive Function Disorder (EFD). I provide both tutoring and specific skill instruction in reading, related language arts and mathematics. Additionally, I consult with staff in both private and public school institutions regarding the student's academic, as well as social and emotional needs.
