Tutor in Parker, Colorado

Students all over the world, no matter their race, sex, or age, need help with academic skills. I am a firm believer that the children benefit from multiple exposures to the same content. This helps understand the content rather than learning just the equation to get to the final result. I am eager to help students from 2nd to 6th grade with their work in all subjects: Math, Reading, Writing, Science,and Social Studies. Although I am not currently teaching, I have my Elementary Education Licensure from the University of Colorado Denver an Regis University. I will be bringing in strategies used in the current classroom, but also bringing in my own experiences from when I was in elementary school at St. Thomas More. I have been working in different elementary schools, from Colfax Elementary to Mt. Saint Vincent Home to schools Aurora Public and Douglas County school districts. I charge $15 an hour, and am willing to travel to Highlands Ranch, Lone Tree, Parker, Castle Rock, Denver Tech Center and Washington Park area. I am also willing to meet at public libraries or the like, to help get your student up to speed. If you would prefer to be at the session, you are more than welcome to do so.
