Hello, my name is Gage Andis, and I am the founder of a local tutoring business here on Oahu - Tutor University. What I have created is a great opportunity for you to invest in you! I am a current military member in our nation's Air Force, and am looking to branch out into other areas of life to help those around me with experience not only through the military, but from high school and college. I have taken AP courses, obtained an EMT license, taken the SAT, college courses, CLEP/Dantes tests, graduated a Chinese program, and am currently signed up at Indiana University for business administration. I am no stranger to tests. From easy to challenging, memorization to application, I have done it all and continue to do so. I hope this doesn't sound conceited, I am merely trying to gain your trust as a tutor for you or for your children. I understand the hesitance of hiring a tutor. How do I know if it will be effective? That's the most important question -- you would not want to pay for help only to not receive it. And some people just don't click together, which happens. To be sure of this, the first two sessions' fee will not be due until the third session. If after two sessions it has been decided that this program is ineffective, and you do not wish to meet for a third, there is no fee. I am giving you a trial period to test the waters. Granted, at the third meeting the fees will be due for the first two sessions along with the third, but there is no need to worry, my fees rival that of any tutoring company on island worth its salt. Enough about me, what about you? What I offer is a chance, a helping hand to improve yourself and your future. I will tutor and guide in all subjects K-12 (with exception of certain AP classes -- if I feel I cannot adequately teach a certain subject, I will waste neither your or my own time), CLEP/Dantes tests, the ASVAB, SAT and ACT, Chinese, and can even challenge your gifted child if you are interested. Plus if there are other subjects you wish to inquire about, please feel free to ask! When I said my prices rival that of anywhere else, I meant it! Starting at $25 an hour, you can choose in-home tutoring, a meeting spot, or my own home. I leave that completely up to you. We can do as many sessions as you like per week, with a max of three hours per session. After three hours, neither you or I will be productive anymore anyway. And the longer the session, the cheaper it gets. At $45/2hrs and $65/3hrs, these truly are the competitive rates you have been waiting for. No upfront costs, no closing fees, you pay when you want help. It doesn't get better than that. I do ask for at least 24 notice in advance, but if the situation calls for it, give me a call.
