Tutor in Morristown, New Jersey

Hi! My name is Jessi and I am a junior at Muhlenberg College. I am currently employed as a tutor at Muhlenberg's Academic Resource Center, and in turn have attended numerous training sessions on teaching language, as well as catering to students of different learning styles. I also tutored in high school as part of the Peer Leadership Program, working with students once a week. I aim to keep a warm and informative atmosphere in which students feel comfortable asking questions. I believe it is important to recognize that each student learns differently, and I enjoy adapting my methods to each students' individual needs. One of my goals is for students to feel less anxious about subjects, and I will happily assist with test prep/studying strategies to make them feel as comfortable as possible.
