Hello! My name is Frank, and I am a lifelong learner. I started the teaching pathway through Central Washington University, but realized that the demands on my time with a large family were not going to let me devote the time I need to become a certified teacher. However, between homework help, work, and volunteer activities, I do have some time to support other learners. I am very good at teaching people HOW to learn, which usually helps more than working with specific subjects. Once you figure out how to pull the ideas into your world view, you not only learn the subject at hand, but have an easier time learning the things that build off that subject. I can tutor from kindergarten on up, as well as help out with mentoring to help build a more successful plan of attack on future challenges. Math, Science, Technology, Reading, and any related disciplines are my specialty. Physics? Sure! I love showing a struggling learner what they already know about Newton's laws and Einstein's theory of relativity. Chemistry? We can walk through some reactions and see what precipitates. Geology? Geography? Biology? Whatever will help, I can work with you.
