It's never too early to start tutoring for reading and writing! Students should strive to enhance their academic skills, but most students lose motivation over the summer break. Summer tutoring can build confidence and help improve or maintain skills learned throughout the school year and help advance students to the next level. My personal experience with reading and writing tutoring at the elementary and college level equips me with the knowledge to help students achieve their academic goals in a fun and engaging style. Reading and writing skills can be applied to a multitude of subjects including, but not limited to, English, History, and Science. Reading comprehension is essential to understanding any subject. With strong reading skills, any subject will become less intimidating. Writing is a skill composed of grammar, spelling, punctuation, and critical thinking which can be used in a variety of assignments from essays to creative writing. With a broader comprehensive knowledge of these skills, going back to school in the fall will be less stressful for your child. I offer weekly tutoring at $35/hour for all grades. Hours of Availability: Friday 11-2 and 6-9, Saturday 3-9, Sunday 11-3, Monday 11-1
