Charging by hour means I charge $25 every hour spent on content learning, and $10 per hour when the student is doing practice problems and requires assistance. Plan pricing means I charge an upfront cost on the subject. For example, if you want SAT tutoring, I will ask you to take a practice test (in my presence), and I will analyze your weaknesses and strong points. Based on this, I will make a customized plan, and charge you for the entire course. If the student is a slow learner, then also the cost will not inflate.
