I'm a professional accountant with a CPA, CA designation from a Big 4 firm looking to help out university students get through their accounting courses or professionals get through their CPA PEP program and become a successful CFE writer. I have 10 years of combined teaching experience as a CPA Facilitator for Core 1 and Assurance, teaching assistant at SFU, and private tutoring. I can help make understanding of any accounting concepts easy. My past students have all scored extremely well on their mid-terms, finals, and case writing after receiving tutoring. I can help you understand concepts, exam preparation or go through problem sets. Will teach the following subjects: - Core 1, Core 2, and Assurance Elective from CPA - CFE Prep and case marking services - Financial accounting (introductory, intermediate, and advanced) - Auditing and assurance - Financial statement analysis - Performance measurement/corporate governance/risk management - IFRS/Canadian GAAP interpretation and understandings - CPA PREP/PEP courses - Case writing skills and tips - Exam tips I can help you review assignments, meet on a regular basis to go over the understanding of more complex accounting topics, provide you with case writing tips, and help you prepare for your exams (i.e. exam taking strategies and marking your mock exams). As well I provide career advice in the accounting/finance industry, tips on finding jobs and working with you on achieving your career goals as you're going through the CPA process. Rate is $65/hr.
