I have educated children aged 4 -12years for 25 years as an elementary teacher. I believe tutoring provides extra avenues to individualize program meeting more of the learner’s needs in a relaxed environment. It helps build self esteem, to recognize strengths, to practice skills, and to explore strategies to meet struggles. It provides parents with homework/project support and how to understand the education system, language, and curriculum. I prefer to work in my own, smoke free, pet free, bright, clean, quiet environment. Available early evenings and willing to discuss possible summer daytime sessions.
