I provide tutoring services in Mathematics, English, Reading, and Writing. In mathematics I have experience in teaching Algebra I and II. In English, I teach essay writing, resume writing, and test prep. In essay writing I teach professional communication as well as writing in a unique voice. In reading I focus in critical thinking. Additionally, I am a creative writing mentor at the non-profit WriteGirl and teach creative outlets such as songwriting and poetry, which intertwine with Academic English as it helps students think outside of the box and create thought-provoking work. I encourage my students to write fearlessly and bodly, and to have a passion for learning!
